The Sony is lazy narrative is not really coming back, is it?

They just released the Pro and their own VR headset ffs. MS get more credit for a monthly software update.

Where's the games?? Holiday lineup looks like nothing.

All ive seen from them are delays.

Last Guardian is out next month, Gravity Rush 2 January, Horizon February.

they should have had something else for the holidays, but at least they still release games all year round. MS releasing everything at once doesn't make them less lazy for the first 9 months of every year. Even more so considering what MS do release is the same old franchises over and over again. Now that is lazy

Good marketing, I imagine. It's how the PS4 got to where it is today.

Marketing has the least to do with this. Its not rrwlly that hard if you just looked at all thats going on.

Lol, and marketing isn't even how the Ps4 got to where it is today.  MS just made a lot of very very very very stupid decisions. Almost like they were living in a bubble.

I mean over 1 million worldwide for Xbox One.

PS4 Pro is $100 more than Xbox One S, for that reason I see Xbox winning november and december.

Wait.... did the PS4s just stop to exist?

Look at it this way, if in october MS sold 250k XB1s and sony sold 200k PS4s, whst that tells you is that right now there are still 200k people willing to buy the cheaper PS4 while however many are waiting to buy the PS4pro.

So now in November you will still have all those that would typically have gone for a $300 console (yes, the PS4s is also $300) in addition to those that want to buy a $400 PS4pro.

Still think XB1s is gonna win November and December?

Yes.

Its just a better value.

The initial reaction to all of the anti-consumer news of launch XBO (and how Sony wisely dropped all that before announcements) has gone away and people have forgotten.

They carry the same library as far as anyone really cares. Neither have exclusives worth a shit this gen with exception to a rare few groups.

XBO-S is a good system. It delivers on the normal "slim" concept well plus adds really good marketable feature in the 4K department.

All at a price that is less than last year and on par with PS4's core and slim models

Lastly, PS4 Pro is just pushing power for more $$ and it is barely launching. It'll be interesting to see if MS can market their 4K against Pro in such a way that forces Sony to match price (thus losing profit) or Sony can drive up how much better games can be visually, which will be harder than marketing buzz words such as 4K. All people will see is the 4K stamp and think they are basically the same but XBO-S is cheaper.

Exactly what I was thinking, that 4K sticker.

Totally agree. Well said.

I'll be sure to remind you about this when the scorpio is released. Especially being that that is what the bolded part truly applies and is probbaly exactly what will happen. Just in reverse though.

And just like jega, you talk like the PS4s doesn't exist. Sony would sooner drop the price of the PS4s to $250 or even $200 and probably not be losing anythjng tjan to drop the price of the PS4pro.

Firstly, as far as I`m aware it`s only outselling the PS4 in like 3 countries and still can`t match it worldwide.

Secondly, people have probably been waiting for the PS4 Pro to release.

This.

I don't know why it's so hard to understand.

Yes, MS's stupid decisions which Sony took advantage of. Sony then tripped up at times and MS took advantage then.

They actually put the effort in, fixed mistakes, offered backwards compatibility, offered great value for money and continued to release good quality titles for the platform without relying completely on 3rd parties.

In short, because they deserve it.

It's been outsold globally in the US but that's about it
