Reports are that there is kryptonite in the suit. Which wouldn't be the first time Batman has used something similar to fight Superman.

So....just crush Batman with the moon?  That's the problem with this kind of plot, Superman could see Batman from miles and miles away, and hit him with a stone, thrown from behind him, in the face, after it circles the planet.  There's no need for Superman to even get close enough to Batman, for Kryptonite to have any effect.

Just goes to show how terrible a character Superman is. Just stupidly OP

It's actually probably an issue of lack of empathy.   To put it simply, you grow up with characters, and plots written out, and when tech finally catches up to be able to produce said characters and plots on-screen (that you've waited years, upon years to see), they go off-script to avoid paying royalties.

Not saying you have to care, but it should be abundantly clear that 'fanboys' have grown up immersed in the genre, and the story.  Many of them know every in and out of these characters, and to see it butchered, just to avoid royalties does tend to piss people off.

And whether you want to give them credit or not, without those 'fanboys', these comics would never have made it to the big screen.

That's absolutely true, but working w/in the framework of the powers we know Superman has (and that Batman doesn't), this fight doesn't even merit a short, let alone a full length movie.

Looks okay, not that special. Maybe I'm just getting tired of these types of movies. When I first heard about the movie, I was excited, but after seeing the trailer, I'm not really looking forward to it anymore.

Well, Superman doesn't actually want to kill Batman/wipe out the entire planet, plus, up to this point he is totally unaware of kryptonite.

Though most of that is really besides the point, when is the last time you saw a super hero movie without some glairing plot hole? Many of them way worse than how Batman fights Superman.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Then...shouldn't Batman be smart enough to realize something's up if he isn't instantly destroyed by a far, far, far superior opponent?   Plus, don't you think with all the knowledge Superman gained from the fortress of solitude, and that he's already aware that being subjected to Krypton's environment has a detrimental effect on his powers, he could surmise that fragments of his homeworld could also cause such effects?

And yes, I'm used to glaring plots holes, but man, that's a huge huge one.

Plus, Superman's got ridiculous hearing.  Don't you think he'll be able to hear Bruce Wayne and Batman and be like...yeah, same person.  Hey world, I know something you don't know.  lol.

Not bad. Bootleg makes it hard to really tell what is happening though.

Check the link below. (note to Admins: it's not really porn please don't ban me!)

Trailer was nice, but I'm not sold on the idea that Batman can take on Superman. Batman is just an ordinary person while Superman is well...Superman. Super strength, super speed, etc.
