https://www.reddit.com/r/Seaofthieves/comments/7qtb1q/official_sot_tales_from_the_tavern_ep_14/ Not much 'new' but I would love if they added a 'Fishing Guild', a few fun activities to do whilst sailing will really help pass the time such as fishing or gambling. New Islands would be nice, I think it would be awesome if they added Easter Egg hidden islands such as a Banjo Island or a Pinata Island where all the creatures on it are actual Pinata creatures Kinda sucks that there's no special edition, I thought a pirate ship statue would have been cool but expensive though. Coral Reefs seems obvious along with more enemies, I've thought it through and I would rather they don't show the Kraken but have it in for launch, make it a surprise encounter. |
A "Gwent-like" mini game would be perfect for this game. They need to think about something new, fresh and pirate related.

So I finally finished Life is Strange: Before the Storm the other night. I knew it would make me feel sad knowing what happens to Rachel Amber but that final post-credit scene.. fucking hell :( Now I just hope the bonus episode "Farewell" gives us an option to use Max's time powers to prevent any of this from happening heh. I'm a big wuss.

I just noticed when browsing through available games on games pass that 2k16 wasn’t on it. I thought they would announce when games would be taken off? Or have I just missed these announcements?
| Ryuu96 said: Eurogamer Sources: Microsoft plots Fable return Work is underway on a brand new, big-budget Fable game, Eurogamer can reveal. Fable franchise owner Microsoft has tasked UK developer Playground, which makes the Forza Horizon racing games for Xbox and PC, with creating this new Fable, sources close to the project have told Eurogamer. Microsoft said in a statement it does not comment on rumour or speculation. We've heard the new Fable is planned as a story and character-focussed open-world action RPG. A significant investment in its development is also planned, with some 200 people set to work on the game at Playground's newly-established second office in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. Don't expect to play this new Fable any time soon, however. We've heard it's early days in terms of development, with Playground currently staffing up the team from double digits to its triple digit target. According to former Lionhead developers, staff at the studio had wanted to make a story-driven, single-player Fable 4 while Legends was in the works, and had hoped the studio would move on to making such a game after Legends was done and dusted. Ex-Lionhead staff Eurogamer spoke with said they were excited to see Playground bring Fable back from the dead, but this excitement is tempered somewhat by a sadness that Lionhead was never given the chance to make its dream Fable 4. "I have slightly mixed feelings," Fable co-creator Simon Carter told Eurogamer. "On the one hand it's great for the UK games industry, and very pleasing that Fable isn't dead; indeed, it will be lovely to play one as a punter, without coming out in hives. "On the other hand it is a little curious to get rid of the team that is uniquely expert in making Fable, and then try and make Fable. Fable is a weird game, and a tough one to deconstruct for a new team. That said, the team in question is very talented, and I'm sure they'll do a fantastic job." So, what changed? We've heard Microsoft's rekindled interest in Fable was in part inspired by Sony's phenomenal success with Guerrilla Games' PlayStation 4-exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn. As of June 2017, Guerrilla's story-driven, single-player open-world action RPG had sold over 3.4m copies. This new Fable is seen as something of a clean break, and while all Fable Legends assets were backed up after Lionhead shut down, the expectation is Playground is starting from scratch as it bids to revive the Xbox-exclusive franchise. Ted Timmins, an ex-Lionhead veteran who now works at Microsoft studio Rare on Sea of Thieves, told Eurogamer: "I was a Fable (Project Ego!) fan before I was a Fable developer, so the thought of one of my favourite franchises of all time rumoured to be making a comeback excites me greatly." http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-01-17-sources-microsoft-plots-fable-return Get Simon Carter on it dammit! It doesn't sound like he's involved unless he's just playing along. |
I am slightly dissapointed that PG isnt making new RPG IP, but just working on Fable which I am not the biggest fan off.
It sounds like next xbox title, if they really isnt using any fable legends assets(seems reasonable if its really for next gen with better graphics) They just moved to new bulding and still hiring for most places, my bet is it wont launch till 2021 at the earliest. We could see the game 2020 if the next xbox is revealed that year.

Interesting, though I think the reason is that they will add 2k17 next month.
However I didn't see any announcement either.
wow now that's a pretty good month.
I'm kinda angry now that I forgot to cancel my subsribtion last month and not this one.
Basically sounds like the booty is taking over Phils job as head of Xbox (they just aren't calling it that) since Phil is basically in charge of all things gaming now at MS so they needed to fill the void left by his promotion. Anyway, it seems like MS is on the up for their gaming.
