Played some of the Dragon Ball FighterZ beta to see if I'd like it and it's really good.
Presentation is fantastic (not counting menus though as they are terrible as usual in many many Japanese games)
Gameplay is basically Street Fighter but with more over the top moves. Therefore probably closer to Marvel vs. Capcom.
I'm hoping for some decent modes in the final game and a simple menu to choose game modes from. Not the shitty lobby type thing that's present now. At least it made some sense in Xenoverse.

I think the worst thing about this game is some terrible matchmaking decisions. Lobby system which only supports up to 64 players where not everyone is searching for a game is a bad decision. Also it seems that the game has some network problems. About gameplay - it plays almost the same as BlazBlue series which is no surprise because both games made by the same dev.

A Halo RPG should give you the choice of being either Spartan,Elite or Brute.

Hmm, they should do a Xbox Direct

It is something I was thinking as well. They should make something like Nintendo does with its direct. Sony has PSX every year to announce their stuff and Nintendo has directs. I think Microsoft does not want to have their own big conference like Sony so doing something like Nintendo does is the best choice for them. Especially that they have a this week on Xbox videos which can be used as some starting point for Xbox direct.

They had a chance to have a fairly bit Microsoft conference when Windows Phone was a thing and Surface line was new and exciting.

A conference where they show their Hardware like new Surface, flagship phone, elite controller, Hololens, and software updates/upgrade like new Windows، WP update, new Xbox Live experience, games.

They could easily fill 2 hours with their products.

My spinoff wishlist
1. Halo rpg
2. Halo pubg
3. Sgt. Johnson harvest
4. Flood survival game

As much as I want to see blue team/ chief backstory I think it would work better as flashback missions for 6. I just want a spinoff to be a different genre otherwise what's the point. Assuming we get a good game I'd be perfectly fine with 6 in 2019/2020.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

hmm... I can't see there been any Gears spinoff at least not anytime soon, They could be recruiting for Gears 5 related work, I guess It could be a possibility that they are working on remastering 2+3 and combining it with Gears Ultimate to create a Gears Trilogy Collection, (It will happen at some point)

I'd say that the recruitment could also be them staffing up for a new project of their own as The Coalition should be staffed up enough now to take 100% of Gears 5 development on themselves.

I could see a spinoff this soon considering it's Microsoft Would a remaster of 2+3 require a 'Cinematic Lead' and 'Storyboard Artist' considering the cinematic's are already there? They would just be updating them to Unreal Engine 4 and making them look awesome.

It's definitely for Gears though, all the job postings I've linked are under 'Gears of War Franchise' and they have separate listings for an 'Unannounced Project' I made sure to ignore them ones.

hmm your links went straight to the job listings and I didn't see that list with Gears of War/Unannounced project, Are they adding more job listings still? it says 18 open for Gears now and you said 17 in your initial post.

If they are still adding even more job listings I suppose a spinoff or them taking on a heavier chuck of work for Gears 5 is possible.

They have such type of the conference, they just don't use it to talk about gaming. I remember watching one of their conferences where they showed Surface Studio, Surface Book, etc. But this conference was entirely focused on next Windows 10 update (It was creators update then if I'm not mistaken) They even said something about Xbox but it was about addition of Mixer stream to Windows 10. Though in my opinion this format is not suitable at all for gamers. They need to have a separate gaming only conference.

Voted for Halo MMO.

honestly down for any of those spinoffs, even the mega block one, the prototype looked fun.
