As an aside the game automatically decreases the difficulty after a certain number of failures. So the penalty for easy mode I suppose is knowing you aren't good enough to beat the boss.

More options are always good though. Ofcourse I'll not be partaking in this DLC option, but if others do then good for them.

Giving my opinion and starting a conversation is transparent? And Fire Emblem is last place id look for paid DLC to make the game easier so i'll give you that.I didn't know

Regardless, I don't care about the character DLC, but the easy mode DLC is kind of lame.  Still, as long as it's all superficial, it's not a big deal.  On the other hand, this forum has some folks who are very anti-DLC, so I'm curious how they will react to this.  Nothing wrong with that, home-slice.

Just kidding. I probably won't get this. The game is insanely long as it is.

Character recruitment/story missions could potentially be good, but the fact they're the equivalent (ish) of £2.70 suggests there isn't much content in them. I'd rather a big expansion, like (if not a continent because of the size) a new island to explore, or maybe even a visit to one of the moons of Mira, rather than a series of bit piece quest packs.

I agree with you.  I will buy DLC if it sounds really well made and fully fleshed out with its own unique content.  Dinky little add-on packs, though, never seem to be worth my time or money.  I've only ever bought them for $.50 during Steam sales.  They're becoming increasingly popular, though, because I think a lot of people do impulse-buy these small packs.  They also know completionists will buy them and probably people who want the blueprints that are included.

For the DLC it is, it seems very well priced. I'm not outraged at all. Feels alot like the MK8 DLC.

Now if they made a whole new continent as DLC after release, i would be quite pleased.
