Really tired of the whole secret stuff. Does it really have any purpose? Does it help sales. Does it help people? It's probably gonna be something that no one expects. Like, Kid Icarus: Medusa's Revenge. Moan it's not Metroid. And it ends up selling poor.

It does. It provides impact to a reveal. Lets say this is shown at E3. People are in shock and awe because of this megaton announcement. If the info is leaked beforehand, people will say 'Oh I already know about that. Where is the new announcements?' Because of that leaked info, it makes people look for something else.

Guess I'm different. I don't care where things are released or how. I never get in awe anyway. I just never like the tease of. Oh, there is a new game we're working on. But I can't tell you. I want the info. Can't stand it personally.

You can look at MS E3 last year if you want proof. Almost the entire conference was leaked beforehand and because of that, most fans were not all that excited for it. Even though it was a quality E3 conference.

totally agree

Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65)

Wii u: 20 milliion

I should clarify that if they are making Diddy Kong Racing 2, I will buy it, and likely enjoy it very much. I trust Retro to make anything good.
I just think it would be bad for their image, (Retro's and Nintendo's) scorned by core gamers, and commercially superfluous now that MK8 is here.

I never thought of it until now but how good would it be if they resurrected some DKR tracks in MK8 DLC?

I think it would be a waste of time and money though to build an entirely new engine if they are making DKR2 when they can just use whatever engine Mario Kart 8 uses.

Exactly, very wasteful. I'm pretty sure Nintendo shares engines and tech between their studios, and they have a Kart racer engine ready to go.

They need to be making a metroid. Thats the only game people will accept from them right now. AFter metroid, anything is welcome.

That's not what I'm aruging about though. The teasing is what's BS. Keep your stuff hidden, till E3 stuff. I don't want to be told: Hey, WE HAVE SOMETHING UP. BUT NOT TELLING YOU NOW, HAHA.

Honestly, Metroid Prime is fairly boring.

Samus moves like a garbage truck and nothing is particularly very interesting. This is even with the improved Wii U controls over the crappy gamecube ones.

It might be the most overrated game Nintendo has ever published.

If Nintendo wants to make another Metroid, it should be true to the franchise, and not another Hexen clone.

*Jumpin highfive*

I nodded of a few times during prime one.

I really do want a new IP from Retro. Would be great to see what they could do finally left to their own devices and not having to fit some kind of franchise mold.
