Report: Retro Studios is Working on a Secret Wii U Game With a New Engine

I should clarify that if they are making Diddy Kong Racing 2, I will buy it, and likely enjoy it very much. I trust Retro to make anything good.
I just think it would be bad for their image, (Retro's and Nintendo's) scorned by core gamers, and commercially superfluous now that MK8 is here.
