Because it's a Square-Enix game on a console, not a telephone for once. PREASE BE EKSAITO!

It's not a big deal, and fuck SE for pulling that shit.

And btw, the crowd didn't get excited for it. They saw "FFVII on PS4" and thought it was gonna be a remake (like all of us), hence the initial praise. When they saw that it was just a port, they went silent, then only like 2 people clapped at the end (just to be nice, presumably)

It's not. Once support for PS1 games will be ready for PS4, this will be practically the same thing but with trophies. Of course this is assuming Sony does the right thing and does PS1 support eventually.

never played a final fantasy game. lol

Because PS4 haz no gamezsz

It isn't a big deal. The crowd went wild when the announcement came up cause for a split second they all probably thought it was a full blown remake.... at least I know thats what i was thinking when i saw it. Only forus to see it was just a direct 4:3 port of the game.

What a joke.

If a port of XII happens, it would be a great time to bundle FFVII, VIII, XI, XHD and XII HD onto one special edition bluray disc.

like they would ever bundle... lol.. if SE could sell the cd discs seperatly for 7,8,9 they would have done it.. FF7 part 1 of 3..

The only way this really any good is that some of the kids can get a hold of it easier to play it but I rather it been a remake.

Yea I was excited until I realized it was just a straight port no one wants that. People have been asking for a remake which would be awesome to me.
