I doubt the hype is low.

But I mainly meant how the very existence of Operation Platinum suddenly means the game is destined to sell very little and nintendo has suddenly handed all advertising to the fans and yadda yadda. I'm more confident in the game than most here but It's not like seeing really low predictions is unexpeced for this

Why would they endorse such a sexist game?

I am a fan of good games, I grew up with Nintendo but i have multiple consoles and a gaming PC. I will not buy a XBOX One do to the stupid policies they tried root. People have power to sway the changes companies want to make. On the flip side of that companies can take a stand to prove a point. Make a great game, does not matter what system, people will there way to it. I love the that Platinum Games does not seem the least bit concerned with the number of Wii-U's sold thus far. They are not just making a game for the system, they are trying to be a part of the Wii-U's success. It takes a Bold stance and an admirable one at that, for a company to not teeter on the fence and wait for something to get Profitable so they can put there hands in their pockets. But to be confident enough and believe in what they are making to be a defining part of something bigger. I did not play the first one, I will be buying the 2nd. I urge other to do the same, we too can be part of the momentum that leads to the Wii-U's success. Nintendo is in no danger of going out of business, but many people like to point out the doom and gloom of the company. It would be sad world without them, for all gamers. Nintendo innovates, they are the reason for a lot of ideas and "firsts" for console gaming. Rumble,analog and first 3d game with Mario 64, just to name a few. President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America said that companies watch Nintendo, and emulate their successes, and he personal owns 2 Wii-U's. The new CEO over the Xbox recently said, Nintendo is the best first party developer in the world. So even if Nintendo is not your favorite gaming console, the industry as a whole is better with them in place.

Seems like #OperationPlatinum is really picking up steam. JP Kellams of Platinum Games will go to TGS wearing an #OperationPlatinum T-shirt using a logo that's sent to him by supporters.

not really O.R. was a bunch of kids that didnt do anything at all just wasted their time.  They got fame for nothing.

Nintendo was going to bring the games anyways.

The Bayonetta thing tho is different. People can have an impact on the sales by buying it  O.R. on the other hand was just kids dreaming and trying to fix something that didnt need a fix since it was happening anyway.
