It is not negativity, is realistic approach. The game is violent and rated M which rules out childs, moms, families in general. The franchise is unknown for Nintendo casual fans (those who buy Mario and co), the hype is low among gamers in general as not many will buy the console just for this game and is released on a moment were several other titles are coming out. Can it do 1 million?, maybe. But is better to be prepared for something lower (or way lower) and be happily surprised, than start with high hopes. |
I doubt the hype is low.
But I mainly meant how the very existence of Operation Platinum suddenly means the game is destined to sell very little and nintendo has suddenly handed all advertising to the fans and yadda yadda. I'm more confident in the game than most here but It's not like seeing really low predictions is unexpeced for this
