Zelda alone makes GC an automatic win for me. Then there's Resident Evil 4 and REmake, Metroid Prime, Tales of Symphonia, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, FF: Crystal Chronicles...

Xbox had some crackers, but nothing on the level of Metroid Prime. GC wins.
Should have been Nintendo, but they weren't on their game that gen.
Mario Sunshine and Zelda: Wind Waker were both rushed to market IMO, they had to axe dungeons from Wind Waker and Sunshine had a lot of bugs/wonky camera.
Double Dash also lacked tracks and should've supported online play.
Swap Sunshine/Wind Waker with Galaxy/Twilight Princess and add more courses to Mario Kart, and Nintendo would've been in business I think.
GameCube, of course, because it had my favorite games in some Nintendo franchises like F-Zero, Zelda and Paper Mario! The OG Xbox still had many awesome games including Halo, Dead or Alive 3, Ninja Gaiden and Blinx!

Well, since Xbox had Halo 1&2, Jade Empire, Star Wars Battlefront 1&2, KOTOR, Fable, PGR, it is a nobrainer for me.
Have to give it to GameCube just because of RE4. Although the original X-Box had some pretty good games like Shenmue 3, Crazy Taxi 3, Jet Set Radio Future, Ninja Gaiden/Ninja Gaiden Black, Dead or Alive 3, Fable, and Fable the Lost Chapters just to mention a few. It was also my console of choice for sports because of the HDD since those games ate up too much memory card space on the PS2.
GameCube has the Pikmin games, so for me that's an instant win. It also had Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, Resident Evil 4, F-Zero GX, Metroid Prime and Echoes, Eternal Darkness, Super Mario Sunshine, Baten Kaitos, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, Paper Mario TTYD, Viewtiful Joe...
There's no real contest here, GameCube just had more variety.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
