I didn't know there was gonna be 2 of them. Is it the same game? If it's two separate games, I don't get why anyone is bitching about it.

How many TLOU games have been made/released?

How many Assassins' Creed: Unity and Assassins' Creed: Rogue games have been made?

1 for each.

8 AC (main) games in 8 years

ridiculous

Off topic. This is soley about Rogue and Unity, not the other installments. Anyway, each has been pretty different for the most part, and a lot of gamers (like myself) find the historical settings fascinating.

I haven't kept up with the AC bashing because I couldn't care less about the series and was brought here by the title of your thread.

OT: The two situations don't seem comparable to me at all. TLOU saw MORE people getting access to a specific thing. It was seen as a good thing. You can play it with a PS3 or PS4 now. In the case of AC this fall, you need 2 systems to play both games. Non-8th owners are cut off from Rogue and non-7th gen owners are cut off from Unity. Even the PC only guys aren't getting Rogue and they've gotten every other AC. If I cared about the franchise I'd feel that I have reason to complain because I'm a one console kind of guy (don't have room for 2).

4 ≈ One

I don't know why you have to keep telling us its a great game and disclaimers, like we bite or something.

I see no problem with it, mainly because I care very little for the AC franchise. Still, I have no gripes with their tactic.

I'm not against it, it's just that I rather play the current gen version since it's more suitable to my taste. I hate pirate setting.

I have zero issues with Unity or Rogue. My issue is more the nose dive the series has taken. I loved 1, 2 and Brotherhood. Revelations was okay, but 3 and 4 killed all enthusiasm I had for the series. If anything I would prefer a remake of the original over what they have been producing lately.

Last time I said something about TLOU, I got rekt by a bunch of people.

I decided it was probably best to grovel a bit rather than invoke the collective wrath of all TLOU fans on this site.

I do like the game though.

I don't think either TLOUR or AC Rogue are cash grabs.

Ubisoft just can't win.

/thread

OT: Complaining about 2  versions exclusive to each Gen is idiotic. Its probably costing Ubisoft more money to develop two make a new engine for current gen alone, but they will do this eventually anyway, because its current gen. Not to mention this is essentially what a multiplat is, you can't buy a PS4 version of Watch_Dogs and play it on a 360.

People should not hate Ubi for releasing whatever, just don´t buy it if you do not want it.
