| DerNebel said: Nintendo owners, unlike others, love variety...? Really? Tell that to all those non Nintendo published Wii U games that failed. And thriving indie scene? Yeah, sure that's nothing the other consoles have, I mean it's not like one of the Wii Us competitors is using indies as a huge selling point or is it?.... Seriously, you're making crap up here and are giving the Wii U fanbase some credit over the other fanbases that they really do not in the slightest deserve. Look at the Need for Speed game on the Wii U (literally the best game on that system to compare to Project Cars), that game sold horribly, without any competition to speak of, if I might add. If the game fails, then it'll fail across the board and if it's a success then the Wii U will be the last place where that will be the case. |
What games have failed? oh wait all the ones with missing features and cut content have failed. I wonder why? It clearly wasn't because they were charging full price for half the experience. Provide examples for me to refute.
yes the Wii U has a thriving indie scene, considering the eShop near weekly has indie games marketed across it's storefront. Allows people to see and try these games. Good marketing does wonders for games.
I'm not making anything up, and Need for Speed was a piss poor example. Released months after the others came out, despete it only having PC textures. it's second release at full price is what killed it. The same for any other EA game on the Wii U. Want to know the most retarded thing you can do? release games you released MONTHS ago as test for the Wii U market. People don't want last years games, they want this year's games.
