Also you're seriously using the point that there are no sims on the Wii U as a plus point? You do realize, that the fact that there has never been a racing sim on a Nintendo console means that there is no reason for a racing sim fan to own a Nintendo console exclusively, right? To release this game on the Wii U at all makes a very limited amount of sense and it would never have sold loads on the system, that's completely unrealistic.

I'm seriously running that point. People want all their games in one place. Wii U owners, unlike other console owners seem to love variety and the thriving indie scene shows that. The fact that the Wii U was the first officially announced console version(this game was going to be PC exclusive) holds a lot of ground for that version of the game. This game will fail on the other consoles and that's due to other racing games. This one offers nothing different on those platforms (i'm excluding PC from this). To release this game at the same time other racing games are coming on PS4 and One is just plain stupid. It would have been smarter to delay all versions and release with no competition to maximize profits on all platforms.

Nintendo owners, unlike others, love variety...? Really? Tell that to all those non Nintendo published Wii U games that failed.
And thriving indie scene? Yeah, sure that's nothing the other consoles have, I mean it's not like one of the Wii Us competitors is using indies as a huge selling point or is it?....
Seriously, you're making crap up here and are giving the Wii U fanbase some credit over the other fanbases that they really do not in the slightest deserve. Look at the Need for Speed game on the Wii U (literally the best game on that system to compare to Project Cars), that game sold horribly, without any competition to speak of, if I might add.
If the game fails, then it'll fail across the board and if it's a success then the Wii U will be the last place where that will be the case.
