The only games that have done (slightly!) better on Wii U than on PS4 and to an extent X1 are the more child/family friendly third party games.

Every more teen/adult oriented games has completely bombed on Wii U compared to the PS4/X1. That is the exact reason why most third parties don't bother with the Wii U, because they make games like these and feel that a Wii U version is not worth the effort.

Well not many teen/adult games has been released on the WiiU at the same time as the other two though.

People keep complaining about "COD and Assassins Creed are just the same thing over and over again, people should vote with their wallet", but when WiiU owners dont buy them, then its "WiiU owners dont care about third party games."

Even if the games didn't release on PS4/X1 then they still did extremely poor compared to the PS3/360, excluding ZombiU, which is a special case what with being bundled and all, the best selling teen/adult oriented third party game on Wii U sold 260k.

Compare that to the PS4, which seems to be the third party machine this gen, even the TR Remaster sold 440k on it and just look at Injustice: Gods Among Us, that game launched with people barely knowing it existed on PS4 and it still managed to sell more then the best selling teen/adult oriented third party game on Wii U.

People can try and turn this around as much as they want, but 90% of third party games just do not sell well on the Wii U, that is why so much support was dropped and why even the third parties that still make games for them, just do not care as much about the Wii U as they do about the other platforms.

No, third party games that are rushed, has features removed or released months after dont sell well on the WiiU...

...not like the game had all the cards in its hand for that, being a Wii U exclusive at the beginning and all.

Btw. the PS4 version is tracking ahead of the Wii U version:

Give it a holiday or a good price cut and it could very well end up ahead of the Wii U version.

A better choice would be Skylanders, but even that should change this year (and I think the Skylanders series isn't tracked very well on here anyway)

The Wii U version would have sold much better if they didn't delay it so that "other versions" had parity.  The period that it was meant to come out was basically NO GAMES on Wii U and that would have been the go to title.

Guess party only works when you have to delay PS4/ONE version. If its Wii U who cares if it's late.

That's an completely unprovable assumption.

Yeah, because all Wii U owners are on the Internet and take notice of these things... it couldn't have anything to do with most Wii U owners maybe not caring for those game on their Wii U, possbily because they have other platforms for those games...

Btw. what's the excuse for Injustice?

That's a completely superfluous statement.

The following is also completely unprovable:
The Wii U version would have sold much the same or worse if they didn't delay it so that "other versions" had parity.

The original assertion is logical.

Ughhhhh you know that is not what I am saying.  I am saying that many BIG AAA games have sold an insignificant amount on the Wii U compared to on the PS and MS consoles.

So with that in mind, let me remind you that Nintendo's consoles are far less capable of handling DLC (That third parties love selling), and that Nintendo's online infrastructure is ancient and far less active than the competition's (Online is a big part of the majority of games now).  You are a third party developer and  MS and Sony are fighting tooth and nail to be the "Lead" console for advertising your game.  Why in God's name would you put much focus on the Wii U version?

To reach out to more gamers? If you need the game to do 5 million on each console to break even, then you should probably skip a WiiU version.

This game is not AAA though. Its also partially funded by gamers.

Only they know what is worth their time and money.  They have decided the Wii U is not a priority for head-bashingly obvious reasons.  If many other devs have decided the same thing for these same reasons, then it is not a conspiracy; it is common sense.

As for reaching out to more gamers:  Have you ever considered that the people who want this game (Or at least 99% of them) are not the type of people who gravitate towards the Wii U?  If people want to play this game, they can buy a device that plays it.

My god. Read what this thread is about instead of just randomly quoting people to tell them your opinion...
