Forums - Gaming - The First Bad Game You Played

My parents bought me this discount machine with 100,s of shitty games like fishing and the likes. All of them were horrible. Cant remember what it was called. My grandma also brought back a handheld called a brickgame with tons of showelvare on it. Imagine tetris blocks made into a kind of flying shooter from above. She must have bought me 8 of these or so in total. I have never seen it in europe but apparently they were everywhere in australia, where she visitied relatives.

Bart vs. the Space Mutants. Horrid controls (one of those press both A plus B to jump). You're Bart Simson and your goal is... to paint pink things?

I have almost voted for this too... I had no idea what to do and why!

Uninvited on NES

By the gods, man! Alleycat is one of the first games I ever played and one of my favorite games ever! What's wrong with the controls, exactly? I never had a problem with them, not even when I was very little. It can get frustrating and difficult on later levels, though.

"Here, kitty, kitty, kitty..." XD

It was far from the first game I ever played. I hated the jump controls, imprecise hit detection and annoying broom. There was much better around to play.
For example Lazy Jones, same type of game basically. I still have that tune stuck in my head.

Revolution X and Shaq Fu are two of the worst games that I have ever played.

We've had this thread before. My answer is always Wrestlemania for NES. I was just a kid and saved my five dollar a week allowance to buy that game. When I finally played it, I cried. They broke my heart.  Before that, I thought games were like precision instruments.  They had to be.  They were made with computers.  COMPUTERS!  I figured there were games that wouldn't appeal to me but there was no such thing as a bad game.  After Wrestlemania, I knew what bad was.

Well, haven't played Lazy Jones, but it does not look like the superior game to me.

You have no control over the jump in Alleycat, but that does not mean you can't learn how to jump properly. Hit detection was generally good, though at the final stage it can seem like you get hit constantly if you're not careful or get caught under the barrage of cupid arrows. A second of invincibility there would have broken the stage since getting hit doesn't drain health. The broom is the best thing about the game, it's awesomely programmed for the time.

One of the better examples of good controls in the game is when you steal milk from sleeping dogs. You don't have to be positioned exactly at the bowl, by pressing the action button the cat will automatically go to the nearest bowl and start drinking.

Please, please give the game another chance. :)

I definitely remember playing "Back to the Future" on the NES and thinking "what is this? This is awful!" and becoming very frustrated.

NBA and FIFA for Megadrive.

I LOVE ICELAND!
