Forums - Gaming - The First Bad Game You Played

ET for Atari 2600. Really almost everything 2600 was terrible. I got it used at a church garage sale in the mid 80s. At least it was cheap. Ironically, the game that came packed in was Combat, and because it was simple and two player VS, it was the best game ever released for the system imho.

Not because of the graphics and weird shit but the controls were horrible

This game looks worse and is even more simple, but was very addictive

Can you put links? You can't look at these on the Wii U!

Alley cat, bad! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZDG4dlU5uY
Bouncing babies, fun! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSikcq5emTI

Sonic 06. The game began to suck after the first CGI cutscene. What a waste..

I remember purposely buying Pulse Racer for Xbox because OXM gave it a 1.0 and the rating was right.

Hmm, let me think. The first time I can remember is back in the 5th gen. I was spoiled graphically because we had the DK N64 bundle. I went to a friends house who just got a PS and Tomb Raider because he kept going on and on about how amazing it was, and I remember hating it because the graphics were so bad I couldn't even tell what was happening on the screen most of the time.

8th gen predictions. (made early 2014)
PS4: 60-65m
WiiU: 30-35m
X1: 30-35m
3DS: 80-85m
PSV: 15-20m

As a kid, I didn't realize what a bad game was. I only knew good-better-best.

I only started complaining about games when I got out of my teenage years. In my twenties, I developed a more keen understanding about quality of content.

The first (really) bad game I ever played that I could judge with full knowledge and honesty was Demon's Souls. That was such crap I couldn't even get past playing 15 minutes of it. Talk about repetition. And I can't understand, to this day, why so many people like it.

So bad

One of the two PS2 Castlevania games! I don't remember which one, because both are pretty damn forgettable for the most part!

Bart vs. the Space Mutants. Horrid controls (one of those press both A plus B to jump). You're Bart Simson and your goal is... to paint pink things?
