Link has his sword and shield in the teaser.
Hopefully this cease the discussion about being Zelda.

pictures, I saw nothing. Please.

In this pic you can see the shield at the back of the horse (dark epona?)

At the other side is the magical laser arrow you can see at the end. Next to it is the sword. Unfortunately, I don't have pics, but you can see at the trailer at 3:31. Once he take his magical arrow next to it is the sword sheath:

You're right, but I have eye problems and I have difficulty to see small details. But this does not change my speech, Link attacks the monster with a bow and not with the sword. Therefore I stand by my position in relation to the myth of heroism. If the only problem would be the lack of  myth of heroism in Zelda , that would not be a big problem but the other problems that I pointed out in the previous pages are most severe and these problems are damaging sales of the franchise in recent games, especially in Japan. I do not repeat the same things, if you just want to know, please just read my previous posts.

Aonuma can not make good adventure games, he just knows how to put elements of the puzzle that should have elements of adventure, exploration and action. Linearity and hand-holding are consequences of the inability of Aonuma in making quality games that should have elements of adventure, action, arcade and other factors.I blame Nintendo for wanting to shove motion controls in all its games on the Wii time. Zelda does not need motion controls, Zelda never needed motion controls . In this issue I do not blame Aonuma.

This is more of a reply to everything you have been saying.

Are you just ranting on about how you hated the last few zeldas, or are you trying to make a point about how zelda U will be terrible?  I honestly don't know anymore.

Your comments seem to be Aonuma doesn't know how to make an open world action/adventure game, so therefor zelda U will be the same (even though he has expressed multiple times that that won't be the case, the latest zelda for the 3ds proved it)

You are also saying that everyone has complained about the graphics for SS and WW and therefore are complaining about zelda U.  The problem is that on every site on the internet everyone (with the exception of a few trolls) are doing nothing but praising the new art style, the mass consensus is that they chose an amazing art style.  This was not the case with WW and SS, when everyone was complaining about it since the day it was announced.

So ultimately, I don't know why you are here, because nothing you are complaining about is present with this new zelda.

Link is not going to fight a mechanical octopus with a blink eye in the middle with his sword, that's why he choose the bow and arrows.

Naturally, if it was a Dodongo, he should have used his sword as well.

I'm not talking about the attack itself, but the philosophy behind the attack and the trailer. A good trailer can show us many things about the development of a game, and a trailer also aims to provide information (Subliminal stimuli) how the game will be like, when the game will come next fall 2015. And the problems I have with Zelda come from the time of Wind Waker, I know well how  Aonuma works, and I can already get an idea where the game will fail and where the game will be great.

The problem is basically that Aonuma can not do a good adventure game with good combat with arcade elements. Aonuma was chosen by Miyamoto, bad choice, let it be said in passing. And this is not my opinion, the sales of the last games has fallen greatly, especially in Japan. The franchise in sales  power to the general public has fallen sufficiently with the latest releases. This is not a theory, it's reality.

a. Sales =/= Quality

b. Yet Aonuma also made the best selling games in the franchise...in fact, Aonuma wasn't even the Director of Skyward Sword which seems to be the main part of your argument.

Your arguments are bad man...just give it up. You can feel however you want about past Zelda games but don't say that there is no hope for this new one because Aonuma is working on it and don't pretend that you know more about how it will turn out than everybody else. Take your Aonuma hate elsewhere because you really bring nothing to this discussion.

It's hard to take you seriously when you jump to so many hasty conclusions based on a simple teaser. You're reaching quite a bit to try to make a point about your dislikes of the franchise. This "lack of myth of heroism" you're trying to bring up is especially laughable.

Like some others here, I question your purpose in this thread. You seem to be bashing this just for the sake of it. There's a name for this attitude, but I'll leave it at that for now.

Not my opinion, is the opinion of the market, the low sales of Skyward Sword were due on poor artistic decisions and the structure and design ruined the game. In the end, the problems point to Aonuma, he is the supervisor of the Zelda franchise, the blame - due to poor sales of Skyward Sword - goes to him, logically.

The point of the trailer was to put something out of place. Do you recall what was said leading into the trailer about putting you in a peaceful situation and then a huge powerful monster comes out of nowhere? The whole purpose of the monster choice was for it to be out of place.

I have no idea what you are talking about with "empathy" though...

The purpose of the trailers is to create empathy or anxiety to the players, and so they will want more information or news about the game. The game failed in this aspect. The artistic direction did not help, on the contrary, this art is a trend seen in Skyward Sword - one of the reasons why Skyward Sword be a commercial failure. Another problem in Zelda's developed by Anouma, it will always be a quiet place, with no sense of impending danger. Putting random monster from time to time will not take away the feeling of security, on the contrary. It is just "another random monster". Hyrule should always be a dangerous and mysterious place (hence the feelings in the old Zelda games, lost in these new games of this franchise - Zelda is an adventure game, but the sense of adventure was lost in recent Zeldas).

Hyrule should be a place full of monsters to fight for our safety, always and continuously. This feeling was lacking in Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and especially in Skyward Sword and Nintendo DS Zelda games. Putting a whole colorful Hyrule and a monster here and another monster there, does not bring the feeling of imminent danger of the early Zelda games.

Skyward sword was no failure. and no one said "monsters from time to time". aonuma specifically said: it LOOKS peacefull but there will be powerfull enemies in this "peacefull" enviroment.

On what do you base your claim about the lower sales of SS?

The game also came out on a dying console, where most of the user base had moved on...
