Free estimations.

VGChartz numbers are free estimations with a margin of error. Some of the OTT reactions in this thread are facepalm worthy.

Take the numbers for what they are. Estimations.

You are absolutely correct. However, margin of error of those estimations is sometimes really poor.

Sometimes it seems that we would get more accurate numbers from random.org than from vgc.com.

Insidederp? xD

@bubblegamer

The "outraged" was more aimed at the guy who got banned. I forget his username.

The only Weekly numbers we get outside of Japan are software estimations/ leaks from Chart Track in Europe. Correct me if Im mistaken on that.

The point Im making is that VGC tracking has been the same for X Years. Now and then, things will be off. Something will sell more than its shipped. A game will sell despite not being released. These things happen... And they get fixed.

There seems to be a lot of over reacting to sonething that has been constant now for Years.

vgchartz bashing is getting a little sad

I'd say the unreliability of VGC's number the last few months has been more sad ^^;

Nobody is saying thay are mega accurate and I'm not sure NPD can say that they are mega accurate either tbh.

But to flip flop from metaphorically masturbating over them one week when ps4 numbers look great to throwing toys out of the pram the next is deeply embarrassing for those individuals.

Take the numbers for what they are and if/when more concrete data helps later (ie shipment data) then simply point this out.

No more embaressing than you throwing VGC under the bus about 360 numbers, then defending this weeks numbers.

What's up with those terrible Trials Fusion sales?

I'm an alt and I don't want to leave this site.

I agree and it will be interesting going forward because the Titanfall bundle has gone up in price by £40

Edit: It went up for a week now it's been reduced by £20
