Oh noes a Seece thread! Who cares who the author is? I think the 360 beating the Wii in US/UK is certainly something to be proud of for Microsoft. Though it's less of an achievement to beat the Gamecube and WiiU.

Well, we could very well see a much smaller gap in Japan this gen between Xbox and Nintendo. UK and US will get bigger as well.

No way! Japan home console market is contracting, and MS won't make as much effort there this gen. I expect no more than 1m, no more than 4m for WiiU, and 6/7m for PS4.

Do you really think X1 will sell 3m in japan? Seriously, no way in the hell. 360 did less than 2m releasing earlier than ps4 and it was cheaper. Not even the most optimistic Microsoft functionary is pointing so high.

It's very well deserved.
Nintendo is crawling wounded and still trying gimmicks with underpowered offline machines. Microsoft at least has a proper console and online stuff.

He created a perfectly legitimate sales thread based on this site's data and asked for people's thoughts, you responded with counterpoints questioning the big picture significance of his facts, he said your post is unimportant not because X reasons but because "facts are facts tho (op) meaningless or not," thus effectively checkmating you, and now you're being petty by trying to get him to state some sort of purpose behind this thread beyond pointless chest thumping.
