Forums - Gaming - Why should you buy an Xbox One for TitanFall?

Now I will go ahead and say that PS3 does have more exclusives. The Xbox 360 has less exclusives but the ones they have are much better then what the PS3 offers.

In your opinion.

Of course.

IMO, the best TitanFall experience on consoles is to have no TitanFall experience at all. Already tired of seeing it, hearing about it, reading about it... it is the only thing XBoxers talk about. Can you please start talking about something else?

Depends if multiplayer or singleplayer experiences are more important to you.

For a MP-fan, the 360-exclusives are probably more appealing. If diverse solo experiences are more your cup of tea, you will probably find the PS3 portfolio much more appealing.

In the 8th generation, the Xbox-brand could lose its multiplayer advantage. Sony has done its homework and improved PSN features and stability... having the stronger hardware (for multiplatform games) and the bigger hardware base will also help.

maybe because they felt there is no other reason to buy XB1 before Titanfall...??

I agree with everything you said. Multiplayer games are more my type and thats what Xbox 360 did well.

Multiplayer is gonna die off in 2 months anyway. Butofcourse...by then Watch Dogs will be out. So that a big 'hmmmm.'

Buy it on Xbone because the 360 version is an on-rails educational text game.

Dude are you really serious? Sony has the best exclusives? Look at the reviews and Sales, Sonys exclusives normaly come in 3rd best on the market when it comes to Sales and reviews. Nintendo has by far the best exclusives followed by MS with games like Halo and Gears plus all the Rare titles they own. Sony doesnt even have a iconic character to repreresnt PS.. Sack Boy? come on. Infamous, Sly Cooper and Jak and Daxter and Killzone are all reviewed as average to good games. Look at Playstation All Stars, how many people went out of there way to play there faverite Sony characters? not many. Dont get me wrong Sony have some great IPs that come out every so often like TLOU which is classed as there best game they ever created yet it only sold 4 million copies... Tomb Raider was critised by Square Enix when it only sold 3.4 million. I had a PS1 and i loved it however my faverite games were all 3rd party like FF7 and MGS. It does all come down to peoples opinions however MS has better exclusives, they just dont have many.

And thats why the sales are concentrated, while on PS sales are dispersed among more AAA games because theres more choice for people than 2 IP's which are overhyped.

In the last 3 years, MS have done next to nothing for the core gamer and in that same time they have even lost exclusives they had from the years before.

This, absolutely this.

X360 had almost no exclusive AAAs from this time, and even Gears 3 & Halo 4 were "yawn" worthy compared to their predecessors.  X360 was a Kinect shovelware fest.  That's why my 360 (and it's Kinect that I bought) just caught dust for 3 years and then got packed away, while I still play through backlog of great PS3 games.

honest question, could someone tell me why a person should buy an xbox one for titanfall?  genuine question right here.

The only scenario i could see it being  reason is if you dont have a 360, but want to play titanfall and dont want to waste your money on a last gen system so you buy an Xbox One. but why should Xbox consumers buy an XB1 for it?

You should buy an Xbox One because it's awesome, and you should get Titanfall for X1 because more people will be playing on X1 and that's where the best community will be.

Titanfall is just one reason you should get an Xbox One.

i currently have a PS4 so i dont see a need for an XB1. and ill be getting TitanFall on the PC latter when the price drops.

and i understand that TitanFall could be on of the reasons to buy an xb1, but from every comment in this thread it just doesnt seem to be the reason to get it. best reason i got so far is to play the best console version of titanfall. which seems a bit picky, because usually if you want the best, you get PC, if you dont care about the best you get consoles. saying you want the best console version of titanfall is like saying you want to get the best product from a average selection. this is just my opinion, im interested to hear others opinions as well.

I would say that you are ignoring a lot of the reason people would get it for the X1 because those reasons does not match up with how you think.  In all respect, no one game is ever a reason to get an expensive item like a console.  Instead, it would be a catyst for people to get the console along with everything esle the console has at present and will be getting in the future.  The reason why Titanfall will sell X1 is because people would see it as a AAA title that will give them endless enjoyment and the X1 will have other features and games that will make the price of the console worth it.

For myself, Titanfall is not enough for me to get an X1 at this time but then again, there hasn't been enough games for me to want to purchase any of the consoles besides maybe the WiiU now.  My PS4 and 360 have enough games where I am not pressed to purchase any of the next gen consoles.
