I doubt that guy has ever played with the Gamepad. Only people I've heard complaining about it have never played with it.

My advice:

don't follow any of those advices.

The game is easy enough to just play the game at your own pace without tips.

That seems daft.... the Upad has the same button configuration as the Pro.

Human hands aren't meant to play games on huge heavy rectangles that get hot from use and suffer interference from other elelctronic devises.

That's the second time I've seen someone say the Wii U controller has interference from other devices.  It's never happened once for me.  Not even so much as a glitch in the image (unlike Vita to PS4 Remote Play).  I don't think I've even experienced lag. And it's the first time I ever heard anything about it getting hot from use.

 

Where do these claims come from?

The gamepad sends out a wide variety of signals. It is what lets it control your tv and cablebox as well. It functions as the central hub for the console as well as the primary controller. It ends up only doing those things half well. The gamepad gets hot underneath the screen just like most handheld devices with a screen

By hot from use do you mean electronically? (if so then it would have to be pretty hot to make me play with 2 controllers)

As for interference, surely the signal for both pad and pro is sent with the same tech (bluetooth?)

Using both controllers is not at all difficult. It requires the same abount of attention to look at a device to the side of you as one in your hands.

Absolutely could not see the point of playing this game with the Pro Controller. The Gamepad is not that big and heavy and I have never had issues with heat or interference.

Windwaker is one of the few games where I think the pad is used really well and subtly streamlines the gameplay from the original and having to shift attention between two controllers would, for me, negate most of that advantage.

Keep a Sea Log! I did and not only was it tons of fun, but it really helped :D

Basically, whenever you go to an island, write down its name, what you did on it and what you still need to do on it. For example, if you go to any island and you see a big boulder but have no bombs, write it down so you know that you need to come back ^.^

**Spoiler**** Beat the guy in the cyclone, it will allow you to warp to certain islands by teaching you the ballad of the gales.It does come in handy if you want to get around quickly.
