That seems daft.... the Upad has the same button configuration as the Pro.

Human hands aren't meant to play games on huge heavy rectangles that get hot from use and suffer interference from other elelctronic devises.

That's the second time I've seen someone say the Wii U controller has interference from other devices.  It's never happened once for me.  Not even so much as a glitch in the image (unlike Vita to PS4 Remote Play).  I don't think I've even experienced lag. And it's the first time I ever heard anything about it getting hot from use.

 

Where do these claims come from?

The gamepad sends out a wide variety of signals. It is what lets it control your tv and cablebox as well. It functions as the central hub for the console as well as the primary controller. It ends up only doing those things half well. The gamepad gets hot underneath the screen just like most handheld devices with a screen
