And as far as a much larger percentage of people watching Porn on their PS4's that's a fact.  Look it up and giggle.  Giggling is fun. You ought to try it.

So should you. Don't take a debate too seriously. We're having a discussion on an internet forum. It's not a big deal.

Here ya go!  http://www.geek.com/games/ps4-owners-watch-3x-as-much-porn-as-xbox-one-owners-1581184/

"...PS4 owners watch porn about three times more than Xbox One buyers."

And more people by percentage watched Netflix on the PS3 and Wii than the Xbox 360.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Okay Congrats? You ignored the rest of my argument so I assume you couldn't come up with a rebuttal and just had to resort to talking about porn. You seem to be a bit too obsessed with porn.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

It's true, they only had eight years to get ready you know.

:/

The PS4 press conference caught them really off-guard, I'd think.

That's the first thing that crossed my mind as well. For them to not be ready is inexcusable, the generation went on longer than usual and they launched a year before Sony and Nintendo last time. What were they doing for 8 years....twiddling their thumbs?

Sorry, your point?  You don't like Kinect or Titanfall.  Ok, that's your opinion.  You are entitled to your opinion.

And yes, Sports Champions and All Stars a direct rip offs.  Sports Champions is supposed to be more accurate and visually stunning that the Wii version.  But the gameplay is still so very similar.

I would say Kinect Adventures it analogous to Wii Sports in that’s it’s a game where the player moves - but different enough not to be a rip off.  They really aren’t that similar if you play them.  The gameplay is really different.  Like Kill Zone is sort of an exclusive shooter answer to Halo, but still different.

PS4 is selling well because it´s cheaper and is in many more markets and it was promoted as the "hardcore gamer redeameer".

When you touch a PS4 and use it for a while you fell that it´s also a incompleted product with a old stile GUI and philosophy. It´s powerfull and play games, but has nothing a mid range PC couldn´t do.

And about the games?

Well, Drive Club was shown one year ago, alonside with Deap Dawn, Infamous SS and Killzone SF, from those games only Killzone and Infamous made the launch window.

And basically no E3 2013 anouncement is any closer than a 2014 Q4 release.

Wouldn´t that make you wonder why a "half finished hard to develop on" Xbox was able to have 4 major AAA exclusives in its launch window? Also, basicaly every single multiplat game?

Well to be honest NEITHER console does anything that a mid-ranged PC couldn't do so that point goes for both consoles.

The games part is subjective. And a lot can be said about it so that part is all opinion I guess.

Lastly even though the PS4 is out in more regioins hasn't the PS4 also outsold the XB1 in every region that both are out for?  So wouldn't it still be oustselling the XB1 even without the extra regions?

Hey OP, I tried to watch a 3D Blu Ray on my PS4 today. When it didn't work (not supported yet), I thought of you.

Lots of minor stuff missing too (youtube app, HDD support). I'm beginning to wonder if anybody from the 3DS to the Xbox One was 100% ready at launch.

I would say the Xbox One was more ready than the PS4.

I do not think in any way Microsoft was 'caught off guard' by Sony at all.

Sony want to make money by selling art, Nintendo want to make money by selling fun, Microsoft want to make money.

I think they didn't really plan to release the XB1 in 2013 and just weren't ready.  The stuff that they have fixed with the first update were things that I was amazed weren't there at launch.  I think they planned either a May 2014 or even November 2014 launch.  It seems that they didn't want Sony to get a year head start and just plowed ahead.  The systems tools for the developers weren't ready, even Killer Instinct only had a couple of characters.  They still don't have one Kinect focused game released yet!!!  The Sports Rivals game looks like a pack in game more than a stand alone.  It should have been included from day one.  They don't even have Direct TV/Charter (large satellite and cable providers in the US) support natively yet.  How about 3D Bluray?  Hell, a $50 bluray player can do that!

Just look at the number of countries they have launched in .They seemed to have a problem with the language/localization issue that is stopping further deployment.  Part of it relates to content providers to do the advanced TV features that they are pushing.   The real answer is the KINECT.  The Kinect forced them into a number of system features they weren't really ready to support language wise or media content wise.

They probably could have come closer to the PS4's price 6 months or a year later also.  Had they let Sony release a few more details of their system first, they might have been able to make some changes to better compete tech wise also.  Or atleast, they could have changed their mind on the forced Kinect pack in.

One way to look at it is, they wouldn't have changed the number of sales that the PS4 has, as it sells every unit available even with the XB1 in the marketplace.  Would it have changed things too much to let Sony have the 6 million sold before they launched?  Maybe not, as they have a 2 million lead anyway already.  Had the XB1 been improved somehow spec wise or price wise, they might have been able to keep pace at launch and kept the gap to 3-4 million on a consistant basis.

Either way, I enjoy my XB1, and don't regret buying it at all.  I guess, I have more to look forward to as far as system updates and game optimizations.  It would have been kind of cool to have Titanfall as a launch title though!

I agree with you. MS was not ready to compete with Sony with this One(price and performance); They should release One in Nov 2014 at the same price with a FAR BETTER GPU and faster Ram(with Kinect included) and a cheaper SKU without Kinect at 400$ !  Just my opinion.

Not going to ever happen....

BUT!!!

They could release a newer version every 12-18 months if they wanted.  It would have to use the same basic architecture for programming and just like PC's it could be scaled performance wise.  So, if you had a year one XB1, it might run a game at 900p and 40 fps.  A year 2 XB1 would run at 1080p and 60fps.  Developers could easily write the games that way, it could auto recognize which system and run that version.  Not much different than what can be done on PC, except they only have to make the game compatible with 2 video cards at that point.  Too many of the Fanboys would freak out that they have year 1 and complain.

Just an Idea...

It is near the end of the end....

That's a bad idea for many reasons, which the poster below me will explain.
