I have not said that is what I plan to do.  I stated that I had an impression from what I had so far.  I am sure that my impression will continue to change as I play other games.  The only real bias here is from anyone saying that i can't have an opinion different than their own.  Why can't someone not be impressed by the WiiU?  I am equally unimpressed with the PS4 and XB1.  I have an XB1 and have had a chance to use the PS4 at a friends place.  Previous generations offered up a significant change or upgrade to the previous generation to it.  It seems that the whole of this gen is a minor upgrade to the previous gen.  I call that dissapointing.  I am reserving judgement for all 3 systems until at least 18 months after their launch and I get to play a bunch of the games. 

I state it clearly in the OP that it is my impression after only 2 games.  You should take that into consideration when reading it.  This whole thread was well worth it, as I have been given some suggestions as to how to spend my next $$$ on the WiiU games.

You are completely entitled to an opinion, but an informed and logical opinion goes a longer way. Your opinion is definitly your own, but its not impervious to criticism.

Your Mario&Sonic disc is broken OR your WiiU-disc-drive is broken. It is not normal, that it needs minutes to load the game icon. Something is wrong.

Typical, my first post was completely ignored.

What are they? System or also game related?

If you want suggestions, I can give you some for your kids. How old are they? Do they only like party games?

Nintendo Land is good for all ages, I can vouch with a 4 year old who loved Zelda sword-swinging game while an 11 year old that bought a WiiU due to the DK tilting game.

Did they like Wii Party? With Wii Party U you get another wiimote plus, and it comes with some good interactive games plus some table-gamepad ones. It is a bit slow, I feel this is for younger kids since the game always explain everything.

Did they enjoy NSMBU? How about Super Mario Galaxy? If they can do 3D, then Super Mario 3D World is a great multiplayer game to get.

Pikmin 3 might be too frustrating if they are young, but the few coop maps they have you can help them get grips on the gameplay.

Same with Wonderful 101, but only if you have extra Wii classic controllers (I assume you haven't bought any Pros).
