Let's face it.. Konami is a pretty irrelevant company nowadays and  game-wise they are simply lacking..  They killed the Castlevania franchise by making a dull God of War clone with tons of  QTEs ( so original) and the 3DS game is simply awful.. At least back in the  PS2 days the portable Castlevania games were enjoyable.. Now, there is nothing..
       
           Contra has  been dead for an eternity now..  A Contra game for the 3DS was announced   at E3 2011, but it's dead in the water just like Konami's relevance as a publisher.. Sure, we got a couple of Contra games last gen, but the franchise's future is uncertain at this point..  While I never cared that much about PES I see that its sales are declining which means Konami won't be able to rely on this IP for a long while..

          Metal Gear Solid as a franchise is awesome, but that's pretty much all Konami has that is great and also sells.. MGS is all they have.. Silent Hill is the walking dead of the horror genre.   It's dead and irrelevant.  As awful as Resident Evil 6 was at least that game sold nicely... Downpour was a flop and a piece of shit game.

         Konami is giving Suidoken fans the middle finger by ignoring this great JRPG franchise.. Imagine a new Zombies Ate my Neighbours with multiplayer and HD graphics..  Game would be so dope.. Specially with your buddies.. Oh well..

Though I was disappointed by PES' fall for a couple of years, I dont really miss them anymore because fifa done the opposite and got significantly better as PES got worse.

PES dropped the ball by not going next gen or having a vita version...yet they still make it for the PSP.
They have made it clear that they are not in it for the long-run, and just doing what will net them the most money in a short period of time.

Konami used to be one of my favorite developers and now they're a joke. If it wasn't for Peace Walker (best handheld game ever) I wouldn't even pay attention to them anymore. I really hope they can turn things around but I honestly don't expect this to ever happen.
