Sadly no, and neither will Capcom, or Squaresoft, etc.

You have a big problem when you hate a company so much then you see it everywhere. |
You know, your vgpoints ain't the only thing revealing that you're new on the site.

You also liked The Last Story... On topic: No, I don't think they will return to Nintendo. |
Of course not, not after the debacle that was Mirror of Fate.
OT: You have to remember what made Konami great... and that was their huge presense in arcades. Playing games in small bursts no longer flyes in today world (unless made for Xbox live or ios/andriod) so their bread and butter style died out long ago. Konami is a company that has truly ran out of ideas as the majority of their games since the mid 90s have been sequels and spinoffs.
As with the majority of Japanese 3rd parties, they had their biggest success and expansion during the playstation 1/2 era, if their was any was to recreate that time period, they would be golden.

Graduis Rebirth for WiiWare.... >_> |
That's horrible for iOS. I played Gradius and Contra rom games on my android phone and touch screen is horrible for games requiring fast response.
I knew Gradius Rebirth was "new", but I guess I was hoping Konami can do something different for it rather than keeping the same NES/SNES look.

I agree on Contra but Gradius would work wonderfull on touchscreen.. all the Cave games (dodonpachi, deathsmiles etc) and Space Invaders Infinite Gene have proved shmup works flawless..
I also actually forgot they made Bomberman Touch..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

He's sad :(
man I cant remember when I played a Konami game last time - that isn't an old NES game... what a shame! I hope and wish that the whole Japanese gaming industry gets reinvigorated some time soon!
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
As a games company, they are indeed in dire straits. As a company overall, they are a giant 3.25 Billion dollar company with diverse business interests (slot machines, health clubs, casinos etc.) and healthy profits, a state which most games companies right now can only dream of. There is a possibility that games just are not that important to their overall business anymore. So it really depends how you define greatness.
