Interesting. I always thought that the 3DS had it in the bag, guess not. It'll be close, but I think the 3DS will end up with a bit more than 90m.

I certainly don't see why not. It all depends entirely on how long Nintendo keeps 3DS on the market before releasing a new handheld. If they ride 3DS for the same amount of time they rode the DS train, then sure, I think it could pass up PSP.

I think it'll fall slightly short.

The 3DS seems to have peaked, and there aren't that many system sellers on the horizon. It's doing relatively similar to the PSP at the same point in its lifetime, and the PSP had incredible legs outside of the US.

Yes, but you have to take in consideration that the DS killed the GBA in 3 years.

Bet with jetforcejiminy: PS4 will pass the Wii lifetime numbers.

wow.

And I would be really surprised if 3DS doesn't surpass PSP. 99 bucks for 2DS plus pokemon (remake or sequel) will make it fly off th shelves.

The 3ds peaked? Didn't know you were from the future,
The original gameboy peaked at its 10th year, and that was because of the color remodel
What if Nintendo released a Hq or Hd remodel and counted it as part of the 3ds family? it will off course sell better.
