And another thing that makes me feel like his account was compromised is that this user knew how to post anonymously. Even I after a few years and lots of time on here still don't know how to do that.

Wouldn't he want to get the glory for his post? This leads me to believe it was done by someone who wanted to hide their tracks.

And another thing that makes me feel like his account was compromised is that this user knew how to post anonymously. Even I after a few years and lots of time on here still don't know how to do that, so this user had at least a basic knowledge of getting around the bugs in this place.

It's a site glitch. It's been done accidentally before, and this one may well have been accidental too.
