MS could use that as a marketing tool in the other countries to increase their demand.

Which would mean that MS would have to divert stock from their homebase to other countries. Not going to happen. At this time, MS is fightng against losing the whole XBox department if the shareholder group sees them fumbling in their home territory. This is no longer the tiny, freak shareholder group that has tried to shut down the XBox part for years, this is now an unfluential, and increasing in size shareholder group with weight. That is why MS probably ships >70% of their weekly stock to NA, they absolutely have to win there to "pacify" that group.

To begin with the group is still small and changing MS' approach in trying to be on the consumer side would requrie a completely new leadership at almost all levels worldwide...

Second though, they do have to sell X1's though, and MS needs to put stock in the right place in order to guaranttee those sales...  Right now that is North America and the UK.

The gap isn't even that wide even after the xbox being $100 more. Its amazing how its still selling despite all the hate and the other side saying it wouldn't reach 1 million. The ps4 should be outselling the xbox one 5 to 1 seeing as how its cheaper. People always want the cheapest item. Sony has the upper hand and it released a week earlier....in 13-14 more countries.....at a cheaper price.....need i say more?
Its obvious sony has the upper hand

Did you know ps4 only supports a 2.4 wireless signal?

The xbox one supports a wireless adapter capable of 2.4 - 5.0ghz.

The ONLY next gen console to do so.

Microsoft are doing incredibly well. $100 more than PS4 and tracking higher.

I expect even at $100 more the Xbox One will overtake the PS4 before the end of the year in US. Also Im surprised how good Xbox One is doing in EU considering how many more countries PS4 is available in.

Microsoft are in a great position.

I thought about the preorder thing before they came out some more. PS4 was obviously higher. But that was obviously down to PS4 having preorders in countries where Xbox One was not available on Nov 22nd.

Xbox One is looking awesome. And its only in 13 countries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this is opinion. But I believe the lineup for Xbox One next year is better on exclusives ( disc based titles or AAA ). And now they have the less significant indies on board also. After all its cheaper to develop for an indie dev on Xbox One.

Anyone who thought PS4 had it or is close to having it will be I believe shown to be very wrong by this time next year.

Titanfall will sell huge to COD fans. Watch the preorders go nuts in late Jan through to March. And it will be a system seller to Xbox One. Because less players and half sized maps on 360 is gimped to hell.

Get on Xbox One. You deserve this success.

Tracking higher? LOL stop assuming vgchartz tracking is 100%  correct.

Don't underestimate the power of the xbox brand in North America and don't underestimate the size of the North American market. The 360 has about 52-53% of its total lifetime sales in the US alone, add Canada and it's probably well over 55% in one region. The PS3 is much more distributed, with about 27 million or so in North America and the same lifetime total.
Even if the the xbox brand went down by as much as 25% in this key market, the PS4 would have quite a challenge ahead of itself.

I believe that the One will catch and pass and remain fairly well ahead of the PS4 in North America, I just don't see any reason why it wouldn't. First off; the price will go down, and second; the PS3's ridiculous starting price didn't stop it from making a good showing in Europe in the 7th gen.

Now that I think about it I'm confident that the Xbone can still win in the US. I mean, to sell as much as it has considering it's $100 more expensive than it's competitor is really great, especially considering all the negative press it recieved back in June. My main worry I had for it was that it would just be a non-start because of their fuck-ups at the start of the year but now that it's got it's foot in the door I'm confident it'll make it. M$ still have alot of potential tricks up their sleeve such as a $100 less, kinect-less SKU, Halo, etc.

Additionally, the last bold bit, makes it sound like you don't think Sony have the same tricks.

Again, for the last time, right now supply constraints for both systems are making all predictions based off of current sales, worthless.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!

Zelda - Breath of the Wild for Nintendo Switch.... Incredable!!!

I wouldn't bet on it.

it can be real close. I remember Gamestop reported that over 2 million customers are still waiting to pre order ps4

If M$ get ahead of Sony its only because of poor supply on Sony's part.

As soon as the PS4 has plenty of stock the PS4 will race ahead

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st
