As of this week (W.E. 7th Dec) the PS4 sits at 1,353,275 in the USA, with the Xbone trailing behind at 1,170,717 units sold...meaning the Xbone is currently 182,558 behind the PS4 in the USA. Prior to this week the Xbone was 283,921 units behind, meaning that the Xbone narrowed the gap by over 100k units in the USA this week. Therefore, in as little as 2 weeks could we see the Xbone retake the throne from the PS4 in the USA? And if so will it be able to maintain this lead, or will the PS4 quickly overtake it once Sony get its stock problems sorted?



My prediction threads:

Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)

PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)

Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

Halo 4 first 9 weeks sales prediction

PS4 to be down YOY in 2015

No given that Wal-Mart are getting more ps4 this weekend than at launch I think Sony will stay ahead, however I think USA will be close for the whole gen. As for the rest of the world, well I think Sony will win easily, even here in UK.
