I'd estimate that Sony will maintain it's lead until at least next holiday season. M$ will drop the price to $399 once Halo 5 arrives and should be able to pull ahead by end of December 2014.
If M$ does release a Kinectless Xbone after the Holidays at $399, I'd assume they will surpass PS4 sales in N.A by Spring.

i was just thinking about this. Xone should surpass the PS4 in the next 2 weeks at this rate.
I wonder if the Xone will be able to keep gaining more ground on PS4 in the US or if the PS4 will gain the ground back after the holidays are over and stock on both consoles are more easliy able to be supplied

Microsoft are doing incredibly well. $100 more than PS4 and tracking higher.
I expect even at $100 more the Xbox One will overtake the PS4 before the end of the year in US. Also Im surprised how good Xbox One is doing in EU considering how many more countries PS4 is available in.

I thought about the preorder thing before they came out some more. PS4 was obviously higher. But that was obviously down to PS4 having preorders in countries where Xbox One was not available on Nov 22nd.
Xbox One is looking awesome. And its only in 13 countries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know this is opinion. But I believe the lineup for Xbox One next year is better on exclusives ( disc based titles or AAA ). And now they have the less significant indies on board also. After all its cheaper to develop for an indie dev on Xbox One.
Anyone who thought PS4 had it or is close to having it will be I believe shown to be very wrong by this time next year.
Titanfall will sell huge to COD fans. Watch the preorders go nuts in late Jan through to March. And it will be a system seller to Xbox One. Because less players and half sized maps on 360 is gimped to hell.
Get on Xbox One. You deserve this success.

WTF?
Xbox One will outsell PS4 in america at least 100,000 a week. It will be over before Christmas 2013. Titanfall will push that gap way beyond Sonys reach.

You think it will be a head world wide after titan fall arrives or just america?
