Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Holy Hell. This is a Launch title??? New Ryse Trailer.

I was not planning to buy this game but seriously; as a day one game I really feel like I cannot miss this.
Pre-ordered this yesterday...

How about we forget about which one looks better between Killzone and Ryse and just say they both look good? See, problem solved, now move on :)

+1

Both X1 and PS4 owners are sure going to be winners with such incredible looking games on their system. Like this gen, there won't be any losers, we all win.

With that said though I simply cannot believe the final product will actually look that good. I know it will look amazing but I don't think such fidelity is even possible given the hardware.

Basically, until I get my hands on the game and it actually does turn out to be that good looking, I am not a believer.

Ditto.

Yeah it's pretty easy it says his name right there.

Anyways awesome trailer. Most intriguing next gen game for me by far since we already know Titanfall and Forza will be amazing.

I guess I do, creepy old man.  I guess I do.

I have doubts about Crytek creating a good single player experience, but my god those graphics are incredible. Best looking first party launch title for sure.

game look great no need extra hype in title no one deny eye orgasm

I dont know for all the hype with next gen it doesnt look spectacular. I really thought there was a revolution, but i guess its the principle of diminishing returns

Definitely looks great! Not my most anticipated game for Xbox One, but I might just get it if the gameplay is solid & fun.

While that trailer looks great, I'll wait for reviews or 100% gameplay videos. Could be a hidden gem if it turns out great.

This game is hardly hidden. Its a launch title getting a big push from MS. Its may also be the launch game creating the most discussion, good or bad.

Even if the reviews are less than stellar, I definitely want to play it. I wasted my time with Beyond Two Souls inspite of modest reviews. Surely I can make time for something like this.

Was playing this at a Swedish game expo today:

Really really poor is pretty much how I can describe it. "A" is used for parrying, "X" is used for attacking and "B" is for rolling. Once you realize this, it pretty much feels like a poor mans Assassin's Creed (not to mention AC's combat in general has grown to become stale over the several games the past years). It just felt completely boring. I played for a good ten minutes, then I passed it over... Nothing challenging or exciting about it.

Also, I passed it over to the guy in the booth, since nobody was actually waiting to play it there. It was the first day of the convention and nobody seemed to even give it a chance. Contrast that to Forza 5 and Killzone Shadow Fall which had insanely long wait times.
