Quite well, so far. They definitely could have put more into the game overall, a lot more. Stages, weapons, characters, features, but what they have is all very solid. A good balance of characters and a simple move-set that can get very intricate if used properly, much like Smash.

Took me 4 days, about 5 hours of actually playing, to beat TD Bald Bull. Had to memorize his entire round 1 pattern to get there

An FPS is an FPS, and CoD4 is better in pretty much every way imaginable. Not sure about Resistance 2, but people seem to love that as well. Killzone 2 will without a doubt be better. Cut out your budget-game-buying spree and save up some money to buy it in February.
Yeah, good luck finding servers. The last time I played it, six months ago, the most I saw was 10, and sometimes I would log on to find just 3.

Yeah, but fighting games have always been D-pad... And not just that. O used to be grapple, they changed it to some messed up crap with the right analog stick.
