I can see you're very excited about this increase.  But perhaps it's better waiting until next week to see what's going on with Wii-U.  There may well be an increase due to advertising; or it could be statistical noise mixed in with the whole market increasing somewhat for the week.

Something to keep an eye on at least.

Which is extra impressive when you consider that Uncharted 3 released in the holiday season.

The ads for Pikmin 3 in Japan are quite good. Especially the one where there is just a sexy girl on a white background observing a little Pikmin, followed by some very pretty gameplay. This is perfect advertising for Wii U and nails Nintendo's very lucrative female demographic. Pikmin is launching there soon which could begin to drive some hardware sales. This kind of polished advertising targeting mature adults is exactly what Wii U needs worldwide.

I'm really not that excited about the increase. But everyone seemed to ignore it, and if it maintains the level because of the advertising it bodes well. 

As you say, the coming weeks will be more important than the one week, and that goes for the other systems too.

Big discrepancies again on hardware between Famitsu and MC... Famitsu favors Sony platforms this time, MG has Nintendo consoles much higher. I always wonder which one will turn out more accurate.



So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Always reckoned MC was closer personally. I think most are the same.

 

VGC just takes the average, though.
