I understand exactly whats going on. He's right when you say something truthful about Nintendo you get verbally lynched.

I praise and condone games on all 3 platforms, but Sony fans are always the ones to jump me if I say anything bad about a PS3 game. Heck half the time they jump me when I don't say anything bad at all!

Nintendo is doing pretty good right now, the only complaint I have is no 3DS redesign and some of the ideas between Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. That game was pretty dark on the snes, why did they go for such a colourful pallette? Ocarina of Time, and Twilight Princess are the two best selling Zelda games, and they are also the darkest. People want a Zelda game designed for adults, not 8 year old kids. I was hoping to see a more mature look for this game, but gameplay isn't too diffeent from A Link to the Past, so we'll see if I like it.

Well, I don't represent what you've described. I know Nintendo hasn't made every game perfect, I know they haven't made all the right decisions but really has Sony or Microsoft either? I was born in a Nintendo household I had no choice but to play Nintendo. Not to say I didn't enjoy it but I also became a Sony fan when the PS1 came out. The RPG lineup was just too good to pass up. I don't think that Nintendo is the best at everything nor do I think they suck. I'll make fun of New Super Mario Bros. any day. I still feel accepted because I'm not a mindless Nintendo fan that forums make me out to be.

I'm not going to say that all Nintendo games are the best because I'd be lying to myself and I'd be extremely biased and ignorant. The thing is, I don't pick sides to fight on. I try to examine everything in more than one way. I've never liked Xbox. Never have and never will but I can appreciate what it has done. Halo, Kinect, etc. I know people love those games but I'm not going to go around kissing someone's butt just to make me like them. That is for any fanbase/community: Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Ouya, Apple, I don't care. No company is the best, there aren't enough facts to back those claims. If the Nintendo "core" fanbase is as jerky as described I wouldn't even want to join it.

Clever...well my point is with Indy games though evolving are taking us back to a time (when Nintendo was on top) when games were complex yet simple. Some of them aren't even simple. Nintendo created the building blocks for gaming and most gamers are conditioned for controls beyond what they created recently. Still Mario Kart and other games remain some of the most challenging games I've ever played with a good opponent. As I said about you, its not that Nintendos games are complex any longer, I would say they are more clever and methodically put together today than in the past because as the games change its more about creating subtle differences to keep games fresh. When Nintendo was leading innovation in game creation in the late 80's, early 90's the games were more complex. Would you agree or disagree there?

This is like a bull shit sandwhich. Those who cannot sustain themselves without third party support, (ie Sony/Microsoft) are at the will of third parties. Look at Sony's PS3 compared to their PS2. Third party exclusives are going the way of the dinosaur, and thus taking Sony & M$ into console extinction. Third parties are porting their games to tablets, pc's, smartphones etc. And here's the kicker, they are doing all of this and they still can't make $$! M$ and Sony are like Junior PC's and the more they blur the line between console gaming and PC gaming the worse off they will become.

Nintendo's havent been conditioned not to depend on third parties, Third parties have conditioned Nintendo's 'loyal market' to not trust their products. And Nintendo's 'loyal market' isn't all that loyal. Nintendo has such a varied fanbase its hard to lump them all in one group. Some Nintendo fans are more NES/SNES,Wii fans, while others are more partial to Gamecube and N64(and Wii U). Then there are those who are in between the two. If you read Raze's comment, you'd see what I mean; A Wii fan completely turned off from Wii U. There are more of those kinds of fans than you'd be led to believe.

Just wanted to highlight this point. As I felt the exact same way. The only game I feel did not work well with Wii Remote Nunchuck was fighting games. I thought The successor to Wii would have made a more accurate Wii Mote (Wii Remote plus) obvious graphical power increase and the Pro Controller would be bundled to give devs and gamers options. Many Wii gamers looked at Wii U and felt this system should have been released before the Wii!

The Gamepad is killing the Wii U..Along with Gamecube sequels.
