I disagree, I bash GameCube much more than anything else, no problem. Even slight criticism against Vita or American eating habits will get you banned on this forum.

I am not a Nintendo fan because I like their games. Far from it: quite a few of their things are either "just not my thing" or they make me feel genuinely immature for playing them. But Nintendo is just such an incredible example of a business and they make such wonderful hardware, it's impossible for me to not like them.

It takes a very special company for the management to fess up, blame themselves, and voluntarily take a pay-cut for poor performance. It also takes a company with a dedicated sense of self-identity to go up against megalithic conglomerates like Sony and Microsoft, who come to the market with hardware and business policies Nintendo simply can't afford to match, and they retain their "we're a toy company" mindset.

Nintendo is just such a respectable business (particularly compared to their competition) I can't help but buy their products when I'm the least bit interested.

You're wrong. And I can prove it by simply referring to one game that most Nintendo fans will say was bad (I actually think it showed great potential).

i had a blast with luigi's mansion 2. i know it's been criticized for being segregated into levels, but personally that didn't bother me. as for animal crossing, i haven't played one since the original but i definitely plan to get the new one.

Blimey, I even criticized Nintendo for giving 3rd-parties the key to be the front-runners for their products, TWICE!

What I do despise is people being ignorant/close-minded of stuffs they say and use it as fact! And yes, I myself is at fault for this.
