I think the majority of the RAM use comes from keeping the game suspended while you go off into other apps, but they definitely will be able to trim it down. They just need to optimize. I doubt the summer one will be the last update ever either, just look at how much the 360 changed over the years. I am definitely pumped for the update...more so for the VC as long as they handle it better than the Wii.....no trickle releases for crying out loud. |
Trickle releases are the most profitable. They'll keep doing this for a while.

Nope. E-shop will be down for a while though so update might come up after that's done.

As long as the trickle is a bit bigger than the Wii I'll be fine. Releasing like....1 game every two weeks and sometimes 1 a month was ridiculous. Especially when some of those games were just like...."Wait, THIS is the game you are giving us? The hell?"

A schedule posted on Miiverse and on the website would do wonders, wouldn't it? I think we'll see more N64 releases and stuff from consoles that take up more memory than carts since the Wii U has far more storage than the WIi ever did. I just hope they don't skimp on GC games, and announce Saturn, Dreamcast and Playstation games for the service. And maybe even... PS2 games...

Jejeje. Today IS Tuesday! And for Nintendo Tomorrow is Today:
Logic failed and we didn't get the update yesterday. Everything going live today? Glad I used question marks on the thread :P
Yes those question marks were needed in thread title.
