Forums - Sales - Wii U Initial Sales Better Than PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360?

But the important to me and many others is the demand. It was hard to find 360's in the wild, at least here in the US for many months after It's launch. eBay prices were not a pretty sight. It will also be the last time I ever consider pre-ordering a system in store with those nasty lines. I'll be pre-ordering on Amazon next round.

And everyone wants the Deluxe model Wii U.

It is hard to find a Deluxe Wii U anywhere.

There are plenty of Basic Models, but everyone only wants the Deluxe Wii U which is too hard to find anywhere.

less or higher, it doesn't matter cause it's not wii and never will be.

Everystore within 50 miles of me has some.

Also in stock at BestBuy.com, Newegg etc.

It's just that simple.

It's unfair to compare Wii U to Wii sales.

Same with PS3 to PS2 or XBox 360 to Original XBox.

You just want to spin the numbers. Lets ignore everything else and just focus on initial sales of the initial sales LOL! Spin if I ever saw it "Guys lets not talk about data we have... INSTEAD LETS ONLY TALK ABOUT THE LAUNCH!"

So much pointless arguments just because people have different definitions of what "launch" means.

Short version:
If Launch = 6 weeks then WiiU wins
If Launch = 4 months then PS3 wins

It would be nice if they could actually see there is a problem, come July if it still sells around 30K per-week they will be pointing out initial sales like they still mean something. It was good numbers, now it's time to let them go and deal with whats happening right now. I am pretty sure Nintendo isn't telling their stock holders "Yeah the sales are bad now but look at the first five weeks. As you can see demand is higher than both PS3 and XBOX 360. We will be fine."

Looks like spinning, yes. Whatever makes you sleep well.

If you want to discuss the abysmal sales number, I have made a place for that: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=152379

You are invited to tell everyone how bad the sales of the WiiU are and the numbers at all at this thread. Come on in.

Actually not even with 4 months. So far the WiiU is in front launch-aligned, but that will not stay that way very long now.

The sad thing is that you are in complete denial.

We are 4months into the WIi U's launch so that is what we go by you don't want to because the Wii U loses. WHo the hell go's by 5weeks lmfao?

It's been more than 5 weeks since the WIi U launched if I wanted to go by 5 weeks I would make a time machine so I could talk about the PAST,but to bad this is the PRESENT.

Therefore the PS3 wins in sales compared to the Wii U in it's first 4 months you are just going to have to deal with it.
