This and last year even the biggest month(CoD AND Halo Month) of the "biggest" enemy wasn't enough to get a grip on the PS3.6 years in a row now the PS3 is crushing the competition at least 11/12 months a year.
Sony lost a lot thanks to the mistakes they made with the architecture,price and the later launch but they still will finish with ease at 2nd place.
Pretty good for someone who got betrayed by the whole industry.

The PS4 is doing EVERYTHING right as it looks right now.Every 3rd Party Developer is behind Sony and is loving the console.
Even those who hated the PS3 more than anything on this planet cause it was too complicated.
Sony has the games.The power.The support.The best online experience and now the best hardware to develop for cause its easy to learn.

If you have this you can be confident.This is pure realism and we can be pretty sure Sony will keep this up cause they came back from the bottom after
this bad start and surely don't want to have this a 2nd time.
The others are a little bit too confident cause you won't even have a chance against Sony this time if you continue what you did since 2008.

Wait why hasn't it passed the 360 or Wii then if its been "crushing" the competition for 6 years in a row?

Don't try to argue with Sony fans.  Their logic is flawless and infallable.

Congratulations... only took FIVE years for Sony to be "top dog".  And thats with the Wii on its deathbed and the 360 selling in only 2 out of the top 3 regions.

Yep, 5 Years is great considering it took Nintendo what 12 Years to get back to the top of the charts after PS1 knocked them down? And Microsoft have been waiting over 10 Years to be top, maybe 2014 will be the Year they do it...

For Sony to do it in half the time is a great accomplishment after the position they were in through 07-08.

Overconfidence? I disagree. From what I see, we're just posting articles as they come and spreading the awareness. That =/= overconfidence. As for the opinion pieces, there are just that - opinions. Sony enthusiasts are discussing the positive qualities that we are aware of, and (some) MSFT fans will do the same when they know more about their system. And we have to keep in mind that not all Sony enthusiasts interpret the news the same way, so it's best not to think we all collectively share the same opinions with respect to the PS4.

MS and Nintendo fans would vote yes and Sony fans would vote no. Sony owns this forum so it's always going to get more votes.

But I was just joking. It's only the hardcore fanboys who only vote down the console lines.

I've seen a lot of excitement and personally I think it will win next gen looking at all the advantages MS won't have this time, but never have I said my predictions are going to be right. Overall I've seen a lot of nit-picking ever since the conference and a bunch of threads about stuff it doesn't do (BC being the main one) but of course more positive ones. We'll see how they stack up. Also Nintendo is Sony's biggest rival. They've been at it for one more gen in home consoles and 2 more in handhelds. MS I think people just have more animosity towards, and there is a difference.
