Figures do seem pretty shocking. Sony is just not getting the break in the USA... which is bad as its a massive market.... it needs something to help it there.

I think HD will start to pick up a little steam over the next few weeks as the big games start to get released, TR, Bio, GOW etc should at least stop them from dropping further. Wii-u is in trouble... unless Lego can do something for it.

How can anyone think that the PS3 doing 130k is crap? Oh I know.

Last year is history. I am looking at what's happening here and now and any console selling 100k+ in Feb 2013 is great.

Then again I was taught by my dad's old stockbroker that is far more important to be interested in where something is going rather than where it's coming from, so maybe that's why I view lots of things from that angle.

Because their console of choice is doing worse so they need to downplay the one doing well to make them feel better. ;)

Now that the 3ds seems to be falling a part aswell, I am starting to feel worried for Nintendo. No... the whole console/handheld industry.

3DS outside of Japan is not doing good at all.

VGC is heavy undertracking the consoles sales since last year... why? The yoy down in 2012 is less than 20% for PS3 and near 20% for 360.... this year is anything near 40%... it's more like 20% for PS3 and 30% for 360.

Seems like ioi just abandoned the tracking.
