PC, 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox³ and WiiU seem like a lot of platforms to support. The team must be insanely big.

I'd imagine PS4, 720 (if out) and Wii U, as well as PC. Maybe PS3 and 360 (if 720 not out), though they've spread themselves thin if they do that...

Those are the platforms for sure, I expect a lot of early nextgen titles to be cross gen.

Well, they could always bring down the visuals to Wii-levels, but it would be much work look worse than a game develop for weaker hardware in the first place. So I don't think Ubisoft will bother and I think also nobody will critizise them for such decision. Support for WiiU might be possible on the other hand, the question is if Ubisoft will think they sell enough to pay for the port.

Ubisoft have been quite supporting of the Wii U so far, and quite vocal about how much they like it. I'd be surprised if it doesn't come.

PS360 are the only true definite systems because they have 140+ million users. WiiU is probable because it could hit some potential different customers and it's new and so its owners are hungry for games, and they have lots of time with the hardware from AC3. An up-port to PS4Box could be easy with an engine that looks this good and with PC-like architecture. I'm sure Ubisoft would like to have it on PSWiiUBox to get the next gen attention and it probably wouldn't cost too much

Huge game, massive resources are poured into it. this game could easily cost 200 million+ for Ubi, if they are trulli releasing it on lets say 5 consoles + PC.

If the programmers don't fuck up developing the engine, that should be possible. Most worl will be testing for all platforms.

Nah, they really don't need to change much on artwork, script-events and the like. The engine was probably developed with cross-gen and supporting all platforms in mind in the first place. So it is really down to testing. That is quite a work, but not too much that it makes a port unustainable.
