As of Now 3DS Hardware sales are a little over 10mil. This was pushed thanks to AC New Leaf, and will continue to rise some cuz its still fresh!

Can 3DS make 20mil Sales by End's Year? Too Much of a Stretch? Well listen up first....

Japan has Dragon Quest VII coming in a month and that should push hardware, Luigi's Mansion and a new E3 reveal Title should push with some more popular titles in Japan. But how About the main system sellers as in MH4, Can that push it high? Want more how about Pokemon X/Y, that alone should push hardware alot more than what AC did last year!

What do you think? Fall Short? By how much 3 or 5mil?

Be careful, you could be committed for threads like this. The answer is no. The ANSWER. Is NO. There is no debate. You may as well ask if the 3DS can hit 100 billion lifetime sales in Japan this year. 8 mil in one year is outrageous. 9 mil in one year is obscene. 10 mil in one year is outright impossible, and the 3DS would have to do BETTER THAN THAT.

This isn't Gurren Lagann, you can't just go beyond the impossible whenever you feel like it. Go out to the curb, pick reason back up and dust it off, and apologize profusely to it for kicking it so hard.

I think it will be 18mil IMO. Im not saying its possible but look at AC new leaf, how much did that push? Pokemon will do so much more IMO and it'll come out in OCT rather than Nov as AC new leaf did! Im not counting on it but its possible!

Zero chance. DS peaked in Japan with yearly sales of 8.4 million and 3DS is not going to touch those sales as it is already behind the pace of DS. It will sell 7 million at max.
