true, i think it will hit 18-19mil at best too, but you never kno. This will be Japan year of having DQ7 early, MH4 soon (which was PSP killer App in japan), and Pokemon X/Y. With some more AC sales too push, with counting other titles! Safe bet is 7mil this year but 8-9 isn't unobtainable! 10mil i believe is pushing it but miracles do happen!

yes, i mean the 3DS sales in japan are already crazy it would be hard to make them even better. and also 3DS already got some big tittles. 3D and 2D mario. animal crossing, mario kart and a lot of other stuff. MH4 will probably be the biggest out them all in japan. but heck even if sales increase 50% this year it still wont reach 10 million. i think 7 Million is a safe bet as you said 8 isnt a stretch and 9 is obtainable, but i think thats the max. you never know though, you might throw this in my face at the end of the year

I don't see a price cut this year. Nintendo already did a dramatic price cut, which lead to them losing money. They also are taking a loss on the Wii U, so I'm sure they will want to be bringing in as much profit as possible so they don't have to post too many quarters of losses. Pokemon will definitely bring a huge boost to the HW. I'm going to guess it will end up ~7M for the year, ~17M LTD, which is still ~1.5M higher than last year.

Does anybody kno exact DS vs 3DS first 3 years!

Maybe 15-16 million by the end of the year, but 20 million?! I can't see the 3DS selling +10 million in a single year, even with MH, Pokemon, and DQ.
