All the people I know have one gaming PC and 4-5 consoles (handhelds included). PC games are bought via Steam (20€ max) whereas console games are bought new at full retail price. But of course I can only report my experiences.

By that logic, Dreamcast sales must have been pretty good during its first year.

Europe and USA software is up!

Halo 4 sold 45k in Europe this week and 105k in the USA. That means that it's already passed my original prediction of this weeks global sales by 7k (i predicted 143k) in this thread:

For example - PS3, PSP, 3DS, WiiU. Bought over a span of 5 years. Definitly possible. Another example: PSP, PS3, PSVITA. Bought over a timespan of 3 years. As we are talking about gamers here it is not really improbable.

First of all, the Wii U is competing right now. It's competing to prove itself as a viable console for 3rd parties. It's competing for relevance. Most importantly, Nintendo is competing against Playstation and Xbox brand right now for brand power. If the Wii U continues to be outsold by the PS360 by such a large margin, then Nintendo's brand as a whole will diminish in comparison to Playstation and Xbox. Needless to say, this will make the Wii U's future that much more hard. To say that any sales are acceptable, regardless of how bad they may be, is simply flawed thinking.

This... some people think ONE game give 100 million console sold. No that's because of all the games and the price that PS3 manages to do that well. Won't hide it. PS3 probably shipped better than 360, it's just a matter of time that it is the same thing for sold (well even if the only official numbers is always shipped). 2013 is big for PS3.

Well, what should be put on the board? Nobody claimed 'game X' will save the WiiU, as Nintendo doesn't tell us the lineup beyond Q1.
