Why do people keep going on about meltdowns?

We all know what the data is don't we?

There were official announcements.

So there wont be any surprise on hardware at all.

We only know one week + some software should be meltdown inducing ;)

meltdows usually only exist in the mind of an opposing fanboy.

i can think of any software meltdowns that could happen. not one.

Meltdowns = many people are shocked.

No. You can be shocked without going into meltdown.  Having a meltdown represents an overly emotional response to something.

I can be shocked without giving a rats arse. For example, If LBP Karting sells well then I will be shocked but totally unmoved.

Well I consider meltdowns situations where the thread blows up, most often because something is surprising.

Most interested in seeing the software.

That's not a meltdown. But you are allowed our own interpretation.

This is a meltdown:

1. Describes what happens when a person freaks out, cracks, loses control of themselves. Life - reality at large- becomes overwhelming. They just can't deal with it all. The person may act out, withdraw, become emotional, run, etc...

Which would mean there are no meltdowns...ever...on vgchartz. Come on, you don't really believe that.

How many hours until?

No I have seen a few. Very few.

I have had people post "lolz look at the meltdownzzzzz in here" in reply to one of my and other people's posts.   Meanwhile I'm sat there, chilled, feet up, beer in hand, footy on tv, laptop on knee, perhaps chaing about stuff with my daughter thinking.. "Who, me?". Its usually some juvenile fanboy with nothing in there lives projecting their own thought processes onto others and their posts.

i think most stuff here is funny. I'm usually messing with people to be honest. I thought we all were. Occasionally I get annoyed by idiots, pseudo intellectuals or fake people, but it's mostly a game..... Isn't it?
