As you can see from the OP, Halo 4 is currently tracking 1,179,386 copies ahead of Gran Turismo 5 after 6 weeks on sale.
In its 6th week Halo 4 sold 530,538 copies.
In its 6th week GT5 sold 310,652 copies.
Halo 4 reached 6.44m after 6 weeks. It took GT5 39 weeks to reach 6.44m.

I don't know witch made more money but the GT5 paid DLC sold over 1 million in less than one month.
