I don't like it. It bores me to tears. I think Adele would have done well with a much more up tempo song.

Also what the fuck does the title mean? Sometimes it's best that the theme song not have the same title as the movie because most of the time they don't mean anything. Could you imagine a song called Quantum of Solace?

Some of my favorite Bond themes are A View To A Kill, Live And Let Die, Goldfinger, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Nobody Does It Better (The Spy Who Loved Me), and You Only Live Twice. This is nowhere as good as any of those but I do actually like it better than all of the newer themes. After listening to it a few times, I think that it sounds kind of like Diamonds Are Forever but isn't quite as good. That brings me to the point that the Bond people should have Shirley Bassey do a theme song again. She is still alive and still is a great vocalist.

Anywho, my verdict on this theme is that it is somewhere in the middle of the Bond theme songs but a vast improvement over those since GoldenEye.

One last thing, I'd like to add that the background vocals sound horrible in this song. I don't know what the producer was thinking there.

What is the best bond movie in your opinion? Sky (UK TV company) are showing all the Bond movies on demand to celebrate Dr. No's 50 anniversary, so which one should I watch?

My favorite is Goldfinger.  The other must watch ones are From Russia With Love, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and The Spy Who Loved Me.  I'm assuming that you've seen Casino Royale.

LOVE the theme...so much better than the crappy ones we've got recently. I think it will sound very powerful in the cinemas.

But still nowhere near as good as You only live twice & most of the 70's & 80's Bond themes. But still it's as good as can be expected from this day & age.
