Also, there will be online in MH4 so there you go.

This line says it all, the WiiU version has online, MH4 will have online.  The 3DS MH3 is a cheap money maker, if it went to Vita fans would expect it to have online MP.  Stop making this out to be an anti-Nintendo thing.

No they wouldn't... just like they didn't any other Monster Hunter expansion or 'BEST' rerelease to have online.  So just stop it.  If it were a cheap cash in, how would you explain the ton of content added?  And if anything, MH4 having online now makes your original statement null and void.

You already made it an anti-Nintendo (fan) thing when you made your first comment, so just give it up already.

The reason is obvious.

Capcom's only goal is to sell its games, not to sell a Sony console. The PSP did wonderfull for the serie, but it could have sold even better if it was on the more popular DS, which was a phenomenon in Japan. But because of technical limitations, it was not possible.

Capcom changed because the Nintendo 3DS is in a much better position to make their game multi million sellers. The PSP is old and not a console for the future. The Vita is alone and selling weak. The 3DS, especially in Japan, is a big success and it was obvious from the start that it would be that way.

Really, I didn't know Vita had so many MH titles already...

It doesn't, and it won't.  Nintendo has sown that up already, in case you haven't been following the thread at all or read the OP.

And lol @ how selective you are in what you reply too... :)

Seriously kylie? It was pretty obvious lol. What was the point of your comment if it wasn't to troll?

I'm not selective, I've already commented on MH4 and the WiiU version.  You repeating points already answered over and over isn't going to make me repeat the reply over and over.

This could end if you just admit you saw a comment and took it the wrong way.

In conclusion, what really happened is you made a very transparent comment and I interpreted it exactly how you intended it - which is why you were moderated for it.  Then you continued to deflect, spin, backpedal in attempt to make it out like you meant something different by your comment as opposed to just owning it.

So we can just dead this right now.  Everyone watching sees how it all went down.  Good day to you.

By your original reasoning, since monster hunter 4 has online it would be a multi million seller on the Vita?  Why isn't it on the Vita then?  It has online.  So it should cater to their higher standards.  It isn't on the vita, so your original argument is made null by the fact Monster Hunter 4 lacks a vita release.

Bullshit. It wasn't about timing. It was about better sales and the fact that Nintendo probably payed a generous amount of dough for it to be a 3ds exclusive. 3ds is doing pretty well right now and, unfortunately, the Vita isn't. I bet if the Vita and 3ds situations were reversed Monster Hunter 4 would be appearing on Vita. I'm not complaining, though. More games for us 3ds owners to play.

Monster hunter 3g was released before the Vita even came out in Japan.  So it wasn't about the Vitas sales.

I believe Monster Hunter requires a subscription in Japan. As such, I wouldn't be surprised to find out Nintendo offered Capcom a better deal than the money starving Sony in terms of the online fee.

It won't have subscriptions on Wii U as far as we can tell and portable games, the real meat of the franchise, never had them.

But maybe it'll change in MH4... being the first portable with online that is

The online in MH Tri was only free in US and Europe, they charged in Japan for it as far as I know. Don't know how it will be with 3G hdver.

Because Sony fans wouldn't put up with no online for the game and expect a proper job to be done.

Seems you never played MH Tri. It has online. Do the PSP-version have online?
