This line says it all, the WiiU version has online, MH4 will have online.  The 3DS MH3 is a cheap money maker, if it went to Vita fans would expect it to have online MP.  Stop making this out to be an anti-Nintendo thing.

No they wouldn't... just like they didn't any other Monster Hunter expansion or 'BEST' rerelease to have online.  So just stop it.  If it were a cheap cash in, how would you explain the ton of content added?  And if anything, MH4 having online now makes your original statement null and void.
